FAITH – FAMILY – FOOTBALL

Born Brandon Jake Bair on Nov. 24, 1984 in Rexburg, Idaho. Married to wife Jordan Eckman in 2008. They have four daughters Brooklyn, Rylee, Jessie, and Audrey. Parents: Terry and Corina Bair and David and Brenda Miller.

Brandon Bair is known for his achievements both on and off the field. After graduating from South Fremont High School in 2003, he excelled in various areas such as sports, academics, and leadership. As a football player, he earned honors and secured victories alongside his teammates, setting records that still stand today.

Following his high school education, Bair dedicated two years of his life to a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Jacksonville, Florida. During this time, he became fluent in Spanish, a skill that continues to benefit him in his professional career.

In 2006, Bair seized the opportunity to pursue a football career and enrolled at the University of Oregon on a full-ride scholarship. Aside from his athletic pursuits, he chose Oregon because of their support for his faith and hope for serving a mission. Balancing his responsibilities as a student-athlete and preparing for fatherhood, Bair made unique financial decisions to support his growing family. This eventually led him to start his own used car dealership.

Throughout his college years, Bair proved himself as an outstanding player, eventually starting in the National Championship game against Auburn in 2011. He completed his education in June 2010, graduating with a major in Economics and a minor in Spanish.

In 2011, Brandon made the active roster for the Kansas City Chiefs, a milestone in his NFL career. The following year, he was released from the Chiefs during the preseason but was soon picked up by the Oakland Raiders. Unfortunately, in 2013, Brandon was released from Oakland due to a torn hamstring, but he was quickly signed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 2014, Brandon played in all 16 games for the Eagles and earned recognition from his peers as he was voted to be a team captain. The next year, he had his first NFL start against the New York Jets, marking a noteworthy moment in his journey.

However, in 2016, Brandon decided to retire after Chip Kelly’s departure and the Eagles’ transition to a 4/3 defense. Despite having opportunities to continue playing, Brandon felt it was time to settle down and provide a stable environment for his children.

With five years of experience in the NFL, Brandon became a fully vested player, contributing significantly to his professional development.

Life after football

After retiring, Brandon shifted his focus to public speaking, traveling across the country to engage with schools, colleges, businesses, teams, and youth groups. During this time, he explored potential homes in Washington (WA) and Idaho (ID), ultimately feeling a strong pull towards Idaho as their ideal location.

In 2016, Brandon purchased a family farm, cementing his roots in his chosen community. The following year, he received an enticing proposition from a friend to partner in a waterproof hunting pack system. Being an avid lover of the outdoors, Brandon eagerly seized the opportunity. Together, they founded Rokman Waterproof, which successfully launched in 2018.

Since 2012, Brandon has actively engaged in real estate and rental properties. In 2017, he collaborated with local businessmen with the idea of establishing a modular mobile home dealership, aligning perfectly with his aspirations. They established Henry’s Fork Homes, which officially launched in 2018.

Brandon is deeply committed to his community and is actively involved in various endeavors. He serves on the canal board and plays an influential role in the Stake Young Men’s program, where he helps train youth to become leaders, plan activities and events, and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ. In the spring of 2021, Brandon demonstrated extraordinary courage and saved a man’s life during a fiery train accident, earning him the prestigious Carnegie Hero Medal. In the fall of 2022, he and his 2010 Oregon Duck Football teammates were inducted into the hall of fame for their exceptional performance during the season.

In August 2023, Brandon embarked on a new venture by founding Rokman Games and organizing the archery event at Kelly Canyon. Through this event, he successfully raised $80K for the Mule Deer Foundation, a conservation group, on their 35th anniversary.

Brandon’s journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment, relentless drive, and significant contributions to both his local community and the greater outdoor industry.
